Steve has been in the Financial Services industry since 1983 and has been recognised as one of the industry's top managers. He is a qualified UK adviser, having obtained the three papers of the Chartered Insurance Institutes Financial Planning Certificates.

Steve started his career in the banking industry and moved into Financial Services with Target Life in the early 1980's. In 1986 he moved to Guardian Royal Exchange where he rose to become the No.1 Regional Manager, managing the London, South East and German operations. Steve has extensive experience in the offshore market, having worked in Germany for many years and in 2001 moved, with his wife, from a successful career with Allied Dunbar in the UK to head up a team of advisers operating in the UAE.

He is a specialist in UK Pensions, Pension Transfer, SIPPs, QROPS and QNUPs and manages a highly experienced team of qualified advisors in this field. He is recognised for his ability to understand the finer technical details of the complex financial services products available in the offshore market.

Steve holds a Cert PFS and is a Qualified Member of the Chartered Insurance Institute and Personal Finance Society UK. He writes frequently in Gulf News and The National on financial matters, as well as often being invited onto Dubai business TV and local radio and looks after the personal investment needs of more than 200 clients in UAE, Africa, Asia and Europe.

  • Raised a mortgage to fund a property purchase in the UK for a British client working in Algeria.
  • Arranged access to a UK Company Pension Scheme for the release of monies for a new client with financially distressed circumstances, twelve years before scheme retirement age.
  • Arranged a pension transfer from a UK scheme to an overseas scheme to enable a client to invest in his own business in the Middle East, using some of his pension fund.
  • Arranged the purchase of a property in Europe using a loan from a client's own investments, so that no interest would be payable.
