Mehboob is a specialist in UK Pensions and Financial Advice to The UK's National Health Service Employees, having in-depth knowledge of Life, Pension, Investment and Mortgage products.
With a strong background in all aspects of the Financial Services profession, Mehboob has over 20 years of experience working at various levels in the industry, from Sales Consultant to Assistant Branch Manager, Senior Branch Manager and over 12 years as a Principal IFA.
Mehboob's first taste of the Financial Services Industry was during his time with Abbey Life, where he was appointed as Assistant Branch Manager after only 8 months working as a Sales Consultant. He was responsible to recruit, train, compliance supervise and achieve sales targets from a team of 11 Consultants. He was subsequently head hunted by Manulife Financial (now part of Canada Life) to set up and manage a green-field Branch to be run as a 'profit centre' and subsequently appointed Senior Branch Manager at Manulife, having established a very successful Branch office in West London. Mehboob then went on to set up his own successful IFA Practice with 14 Advisers.
Before joining Holborn, Mehboob worked with Doctors in the Sub Continent to advise efficient usage of their National Health Service frozen Pensions. He is one of a small group of experts in this field in the world
With a Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Mehboob is fully FPC qualified, with a Diploma in Systems Analysis and Computer Programming. He is also working towards Diploma exams.
